Daddy's Little Howler Monkey

Chris is a baby hog. He was the first to hold her hand through the incubator when the nurses brought her out of the operating room, and she's had him wrapped around her tiny finger ever since. True, he does insist on wearing gloves when changing a poopy diaper, but he actually WANTS to change diapers, feed her, burp her and especially cuddle her.

His latest discovery is that when he carries her in a "football hold" she wraps her wee arms around his arm...in his words "just like a little howler monkey." She's actually a very chill baby and is easily quieted when she fusses, but nonetheless "Daddy's Little Howler Monkey" has been added to Chris repetoire of "Princess," "Sweetie Pie," and "Daddy's Girl." Honestly, it's made me fall even more in love with him.
