The Latest on the Lowes

We started this blog to share the transformation of our 1926 fixer...but with time and the addition of kids it has become my way of documenting two childhoods...the triumphs, moments of hilarity, lessons learned and everything in between.

A rose by any other name...

It occured to me that Lily has many nicknames, all of them adorable, and I don't want to forget any of them as time goes on. Here's a recap for the record:

Auntie Mary: Button (pronounced like 2 names..Butt-uuun) or Liliputian

Grandma Lowe: Lily-Rose

Auntie Katie: Lillers

Mom: Lils, Pumpkin Pie, Little Pie, Baby Pie...a general Pie Motif, Wiggle Worm, Raptor Baby in honor of her new vocalizations and Sugar Plum

Daddy: Sweetie Pie, (which he still calls me, causing some confusion at home), Pumpkin and Pumpkie (a pumkin-sweetie hybrid), Lump or The Lump and of course Monkey & Monkey Girl

Auntie Consuelo (aka Nana): Rosebud

I'm sure there are others I am forgetting, but you get the idea.

Hopefully the poor child won't suffer an identity crisis!
