The Latest on the Lowes

We started this blog to share the transformation of our 1926 fixer...but with time and the addition of kids it has become my way of documenting two childhoods...the triumphs, moments of hilarity, lessons learned and everything in between.

Sledding!

Chris, Mary, Eddie and I took Lily up to Snoqualmie for her very first sledding expedition today. The bad news is that the Hyak Sno-Park sled hill was closed. The good news was that there are hills galore up there so we were able to find some impromptu sledders who shared the run they'd carved out. I have to say Lily handled it all like a pro. She lasted almost 2 hours out there, only getting sad when one of her gloves refused to stay on and her hands got chilled.

We're so lucky to live in a fun city that is only a hour away from a beautiful winter wonderland. I truly hope this is the first of MANY snowy adventures for the Lowe family. And as an added bonus, Lily takes a very solid snow-nap afterwards :)
